Summer Book Loan Program - if you are taking a summer CLDDV class and have a participant profile on file from Fall 2011 or Spring 2012 you may borrow textbooks this summer. Book loan hours will be Tuesday, May 30th 12:00 - 1:00 and Wednesday May 31st, 4:00 - 5:30.

If you don't have a profile on file and wish to participate in our textbook loan program, please complete the profile, have your employer verify your employment and return the profile to Muir Hall on the dates above. Employment must be paid, in a licensed facility or a before and after school program, and with children ages 0-5.

Campbell Family Scholarship - deadline May 7th

INTERNSHIPS AVAILABLE - MJC Child Development is offering one year internships in our Early Care and Education Toddler Laboratory Program. Starts Summer Semester 2012. Flyer and Application - make sure you follow the checklist on the flyer when submitting your application.

The Child Development Grant Program (Program) is a need-based grant designed to encourage students to enter the field of child care and development in a licensed children’s center. Students who plan to enroll at least half-time in coursework leading to a Child Development Permit as teacher, master teacher, site supervisor or program director, are eligible to apply. To receive funding, students must sign a Service Commitment Agreement stating they will provide one year of full-time service in a licensed children’s center for each year they receive the grant.
